Position: Part-Time Sales Associate

About the Role

At Gena Chandler, sales associates are essential to delivering an elevated client experience and cultivating meaningful customer relationships. They work closely with clients to understand their needs, select flattering pieces, and style full outfits that reflect each client’s personal taste. This role requires a self-driven professional who excels at developing new leads, growing a personal book of business, and nurturing repeat clients. Candidates should be service-focused, style-savvy, and motivated by ambitious sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the store in achieving monthly sales goals
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Gena Chandler’s designers, collections, and inventory
  • Identify client needs and recommend pieces that flatter their body type & reflect their personal style
  • Work independently and confidently in a retail environment
  • Perform POS transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and assist with light tidying
  • Ensure proper product presentation and restock merchandise as needed
  • Complete opening and closing procedures per store policy
  • Communicate openly with team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment
  • Pack, fulfill, and ship online orders as needed
  • Arrive on time, prepared, focused, and with a positive attitude

Job Qualifications, Requirements + Perks

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience is preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and use effective selling techniques
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and store events
